Most of us love the natural beauty of our hardwood floors. However over time that beauty can dull and fade. In an attempt to maintain this beauty many customers have tried to restore the original luster with products such as Orange Glo. Some products on the market today coat or wax over the hardwood. Initially this appears good. However over time this too can dull leaving the floor with streaks. To remove products, such as Orange Glo, the recommended method is a solution consisting 25% ammonia and 75% water. Dampen the area with the solution and use a terry cloth to rub away the product. This does take some elbow grease on your part. But a little effort goes a long way.
